We finally see World 2-3 as it was meant to be seen. ![]() These Cheep Cheeps are jumping oh so high, and for what reason? Do they really hate Mario this much? Are their non-sapient fish brains capable of such hate? Is this just a migration that Mario is getting caught up in the middle of? There is so much up to interpretation! Where is the environmental storytelling?! We can see there is certainly not water, at least not for a while. ![]() This place really is a Void, if you ask me. They can remain suspended in midair indefinitely! You see, bridges do not have eyes, so they cannot look down, realize they are hovering over a void, and fall down after sheepishly waving toward the camera. Can you blame them, though? They had to build these things during a Fish Onslaught! Some sections are floating and not connected to anything, which is a bit of a life hack. World 2-3 is that one stage where Cheep Cheeps leap infinitely from the bottom of the screen! Literally no area here is safe. You don’t need any interesting environmental features to be memorable. ![]() ![]() 3 / Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros.Welcome to another edition of Weird Mario Locations!
